At weeks end, Anthony Conforti and his 11 points remained alone on top. Ten different players tied for second place, one point back.  Greg Hampton, Cindy Cole, Dan Angelucci, Elie Miller, Marie Folino, Mike Folino, Monica Kraus, Norma McAllister, Sam Angelucci, and Tom Hampton were the runners-up.

With two Conforti Cup Championships under his belt, Mike Folino could just sit back and enjoy his fame.  But what might be enough for some people isn't enough for Mike.  He continues to plug away week after week and his hard work has payed off.  It was recently announced that Mike is also the Conforti Cup All - Time Points Leader through the 2011 season.
When the Hall Of Fame was looking for the perfect candidate to open the Hall, it was pretty obvious who that would be.
The Hall Of Fame would like to congratulate Mike who has shown every other member of The Conforti Cup Football Pool that perseverance pays dividends.

Although no records exist of points totals prior to the 2006 season, exhaustive research has revealed the standings through the 2011 season.  Two time Champion Michael Folino has emerged as the all-time points leader with 998 points.  Complete records may be found on the All-Time Points Totals page but here is the Top Ten:The Top Ten:

Eleanor Angelucci emerged from a tie with Bernadette Honsaker to take the week 7 title with 13 points and the Monday Night tiebreaker.  One point behind in third place were Catherine Blandi, Cindy Cole, Clay Baldwin, Marie Folino, Mike Nocera, Norma McAllister, and Sam Angelucci who moved into the overall top spot with that performance.  This week's Bozo is a gaggle of players including Greg Hampton, Bill Hampton, Butch Angelucci, Debbie Kalbfleisch, Michael Hampton, jr., Paul Angelucci, and Pope Benedict XVI with 8 points each.

Debbie Kalbfleisch's Bozo points dropped her from the overall lead and allowed Sam Angelucci to complete the week's Angelucci double dip by taking over first place with 67 points.  Dylan Anderson, Eleanor Angelucci, and Norma McAllister are tied for second with 66, and Debbie Kalbfleisch, Justin Yerace, and Cindy Cole are all at 65.

Tampa Bay travels to Minnesota Thursday night for a 8:20 PM ET kickoff.  Picks must be in an hour prior to that.

Pope Benedict XVI led the flock in week 6 with 9 points to follow up his week 2 victory.  Brian Hampton, Butch Angelucci, and Justin Yerace were close behind with 8 points.  Coming in with 7 points were Alex Conforti, Barbara Yerace, Debbie Kalbfleisch, and Sam Angelucci.  This weeks Bozo went to Aurora Hampton and Bernadette Honsaker with 3 points each, capping Bernadette's one week fall from the roof to the basement.

Debbie Kalbfleisch maintains a one point overall lead with 57 points but second place has been taken over by Pope Benedict XVI and Justin Yerace with 56 points.  Dylan Anderson has fallen to 4th where he is tied with Sam Angelucci at 55, and last season's Champion Norma McAllister is 6th with 54.

Seattle travels to San Francisco this Thursday night to open week 7.  Picks must be in by 7:20 PM ET for the 8:20 PM scheduled start.

Bernadette Honsaker and John Kosele had 12 points each in week 5 but Bernadette had the tiebreaker.  Marie Folino, Mary Miller, and Conforti Cup IX Champion Melinda Nocera were next with 11 points.  Clay Baldwin was this week's Bozo with 6 points.

Debbie Kalbfleisch maintained her one point lead over Dylan Anderson for the top spot, 50-49.  Two-time Champion Mike Folino, Sam Angelucci, Justin Yerace, and 2011 Winner Norma McAllister all moved up a spot to third with 48 points.

Week 6 begins Thursday night when the Pittsburgh Steelers visit Eric's Tennessee Titans.  Picks must be in by 7:20 PM for the 8:20 PM ET kickoff.

Jordan Carr broke a four way tie by picking the Chicago Bears to defeat the Dallas Cowboys Monday night.  His 13 points edged out Justin Yerace, former Cup Champion Kevin Conforti, and Mary Miller who all chose Dallas to wind up with 12 points.  This week's Bozo was Brian Hampton with 4 points.

With 11 points on the week, Debbie Kalbfleisch finally dethroned Pope Benedict XVI and sits atop the heap with 41 points.  Dylan Anderson didn't quite keep up with Debbie's pace but his 10 points were enough for sole possession of second place overall.  The Pope's score of 8 dropped him to third place with 39 and 6 players roost in 4th place with 38.  They are two time Cup Champion Mike Folino, Monica Kraus, Sam Angelucci, Cindy Cole, Justin Yerace, and last year's Cup Champion Norma McAllister.

Week 5 begins Thursday night at 8:20 PM ET as the Arizona Cardinals travel to take on the St. Louis Rams.  All picks for that game must be in an hour before kickoff.
